Given this scenario, the development of biofuels constitutes an alternative to the use of fossil fuels, such as coal, gas and oil.
ALBARDONBIO is a company that is dedicated to the production of biodiesel in order to supply the local biofuel market, as well as the growing global demand.
This product is necessary to mix with fossil fuels in order to comply with the cutting legislation established by different countries in the world.
ALBARDONBIO emerges as the only SME segment company with integrated production with world-class technology that can sell biodiesel
(liquid biological fuels) conventional as well as distilled biodiesel and used oils.
Until now, in Argentina there was no productive establishment that has these supply facilities planned.
The Production Plant
The ALBARDONBIO industrial plant is located on a 2-hectare property in the largest soybean and biodiesel complex in Argentina and the world.
Located on the outskirts of the city of Puerto General San Martín and adjacent to the port of Terminal 6 S.A. It has a privileged location both for the supply of inputs and for the shipping of its final products.
The plant is equipped with the necessary flexibilities to produce biodiesel based on new oils, used oils and other oils derived from animal fat, as well as to achieve a final distilled biodiesel product that allows it to penetrate market niches not currently served by the current facilities in Argentina.
Distilled biodiesel is aimed at penetrating the Argentine electricity market and replacing the use of biodiesel based on rapeseed that is used in Europe in low temperature seasons.
Biodiesel
Argentina has optimal competitive conditions to be one of the main players in the world in the production of biodiesel from soybean oil given that:
- It is the first and most efficient producer of soybean oils in the world.
- It has achieved an optimal logistical, technological and productive balance for the production of both oil and biodiesel.
- It is the third largest biodiesel producer in the world, after the US and Germany.
- The biodiesel production center is located within the Argentine soybean complex, which is the largest in the world.
- It is the first exporter of Biodiesel in the world.
Business
ALBARDONBIO is a company that has decided to incorporate the production and commercialization of biodiesel and its by-products into its activity, for which it has decided to open its share capital to national companies that have committed to the generation of alternative energy sources that contribute to the diversification of the energy matrix, replacing traditional fossil fuels with others obtained from renewable resources.
The commercialization of production will be aimed at satisfying the needs of the internal market (Regime Law 26,093, electricity generation and agricultural sector) and the foreign market.
We are able to affirm that our project differs from other existing projects in the following aspects:
ALBARDONBIO is guaranteed 100% the supply of the raw material needed for a period of 10 years.
The second differential point of this productive project is having the technologies and flexibilities necessary to produce biodiesel based on new oils, used oils (AVU) and/or other derivatives of animal fat.
As well as achieving a final distilled biodiesel product that allows us to penetrate market niches not currently served by current local facilities. The distilled biodiesel will be mainly aimed at penetrating the electricity market, both in Argentina and abroad.
Therefore, ALBARDONBIO is the only company that has production with world-class technology, which will allow it to market conventional biodiesel as well as distilled biodiesel and used oils.
In Latin America there is no productive establishment that has this technology or these production facilities.
